Travel Information
Since January 1, 2008 Berlin's inner city is an 'environmental zone' where only cars that are up to emission standards are allowed. You need a sticker with information about the emission standard of your car. Driving in the environmental zone without a sticker or without a special exemption costs a Euro 40 fine.

The University Hospital Charité is located near Berlin's main train station “Hauptbahnhof” and the S-Bahn station Friedrichstraße. There´s is a 15-minute walk from either “Hauptbahnhof” or Friedrichstraße.
Several S- and U-Bahn connections are available as well as national and regional trains.
